The Kraken emerges from the deep rising to the surface of a tumultuous ocean. This ship only taking up a small portion of the piece, represents humanity. Seems we are out of luck with stormy weather, aggressive waves and a hungry creature of the sea actively pursuing its meal, it appears to be going down. The force of nature and the elements prevail over all. The theme throughout this piece, during this time, SURRENDER. Sometimes we cannot control what our future, the universe, divinity, fate, has in store for us. As much as we plan charted course, know our beginning and imagine our destination, the way we get there may be riddled with trials we cannot imagine or be prepared for. We may not ever get there, but we are in control of the energy of what we put out. We can only do our best to keep on keeping on, persevere, to fight our own battles, to set goals, hope, have faith and surrender.
